Event Purpose

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity is organizing a panel discussion to explore the current state, applications, and future implications of Artificial Intelligence from technical, industrial, linguistic, and Human thought perspectives. Artificial Intelligence has become one of the most influential technologies of our time, transforming industries, communication, and human interaction. This event aims to bring together experts from academia and industry to discuss AI’s technical progress, its integration into business and telecommunications, its role in language technologies, especially Kurdish language applications and the broader philosophical question of intelligence versus consciousness. The panel discussion will provide students, researchers, and professionals with a broader understanding of AI’s capabilities, practical implementations, and future challenges. Objectives of the Event • To understand the current technical advancement of AI. • To explore AI applications in telecommunications and business companies. • To discuss AI applications in Kurdish language technologies. • To analyze the future possibilities and limitations of AI. • To explore the philosophical distinction between intelligence and consciousness.
